Born and bred on Chicago’s West Side, DJ Wolfy exploded onto the House scene in 2021. Cutting his teeth at house parties and clubs such as The Call, Wolfy has slowly been building a rabid following through his Doghouse mixes on SoundCloud.

Most recently he has opened for Derrick Carter and Michael Serafini at the legendary Smartbar party Queen!, where he set the dance floor a fire with “100% Pure Love (COZY Remix)”, a mashup of Beyoncé‘ and Crystal Waters. He has also had his mixes featured on WNUR and Haus of LSD Radio Chicago.

As a Chicago native, Wolfy has a deep love and respect for House Music and culture. Recently he was lucky enough to work on a short-term project for the Frankie Knuckles Foundation.

​

“It a surreal moment,” he remarked on just first encounter with the Godfather’s massive vinyl collection. The project entailed helping to digitize Frankie’s 5000+ record collection.

​

“There was an eerie feeling, as if he was there. You could feel a presence in there…There was magic.”

​

Wolfy approaches DJ-ing in a positive, selfless style. “When I play an event, it's not about me. I want folks on the dance floor feeling good, smiling, laughing, and escaping the outside world.”

​

His sets are focused on Jackin' House, Tech House, Deep House, and Garage. He takes his main inspirations from artist such as, DJ Heather, Demuir, Michael Serafini, Garrett David, & Derrick Carter.

He has previously rocked the decks at Smartbar/Metro, Le Nouctune, Splash, Podlaise, and The Call, to name a few. You can catch DJ Wolfy at his weekend residency at Lost Never Found.
